But it was a Sweet Thought.......

Ok, Peoples, First things First.

Wollf lives in Ventura County, an hour North of these well meaning mushy hearted Ninnies. Not my doing....oh my.

The commemoration for promoting peace, justice and nonviolence began at 6:01 p.m. Friday, 40 years to the minute when Dr. Martin Luther King was assassinated at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis. It was proposed by activists Eddie Jones and Earl Ofari Hutchinson, who Sunday called the effort successful.

"A resolution approved by the Los Angeles City Council included language from City Councilman Richard Alarcon urging residents to use the 40 hours to "promote peace, justice and nonviolence and build a dialogue and awareness of the root causes of violence and killing in our communities."

A resolution approved by the Los Angeles City Council included language from City Councilman Richard Alarcon urging residents to use the 40 hours to "promote peace, justice and nonviolence and build a dialogue and awareness of the root causes of violence and killing in our communities."

'The "murder moratorium" was first interrupted when a man in his 40s was gunned down at about noon Saturday in the 2000 block of East 105th Street, said Los Angeles police media relations Officer Sara Faden. The attack was one block away from the landmark Watts Towers.

The man was shot in the upper body by an unknown assailant, while it was not determined whether or not the shooting was gang-related. The victim was declared dead at a hospital.

At about the same time, a man in his 30s was killed in a likely gang shooting awhile standing in an alley near South Normandie Avenue and West 38th Street, Faden said. No one was arrested, and that victim was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Sunday, about 1:20 a.m., a man was fatally shot in Monterey Park in the 400 block of Edgely Drive. That man died at the scene, said Deputy Rick Pedroza.'

Let's see......a 40 hour, Municipally Mandated Moratorium on Murder in Los Angeles.

Big success there Mookie. In addition to the Three dead, at least 12 other persons were wounded in separate incidents across the county during the period....

Way big success. Oh wait.....I forgot....It opened a "Dialogue". The magic frigging word. If you can open a "Dialogue", all is successful....like Obama opening "Dialogue" with Al Queda...works just as well.....or all of the wonderful "Dialogues" that have happened in the Middle East. Look at all the good that has come out of those.

But....dialogue, no quotes, could work....Wollf's Way.

Policeman: "Hello there, Citizen. Are you by chance an underprivileged Gang Banger?"

Citizen: "Why yes, Officer, I am. Are we "Dialogueing?"

Policeman: "Yes...*BANG BANG BANG BANG*".

Peace Reigns over the Land. All were well and prospered.

Works with all other sorts of problems too....Wollfs Way.

Bush Up!!

Dialog takes on a whole new meaning with Wollf defining it! I kinda like this new definition, makes sense.

As long as the gang-bangers don't start the dialog!

Like Wollf, I am a Ventura County and then Ventura City person. Why I'm living in L.A. is beyond me...not my idea...fell in love, yada, yada...glad I did but HATE it here.

This is an arm pit and we're in the Valley. I don't even leave the house unless I have to.

Dialog is the shot gun to my right.

No offense, but i am sure that there were a lot of other "interuptions of peace" which occured in that same period.... come on people! i'm sorry but these murders were obviosly over publisized because of the timing. a chance for sum police to get sum otherwise overlkooked by the public mrders on the airwaves? i'm ashamesd to say it but gang shootings are not exactly limited to this event.....
sorry if i sound sumwhat bitter and sarcastic or whatever u wanna call it.
see you.

as for dialogue, i agree... unfortunatly said dialongue involes the bullet saying goodbye as it leaves the gun and hello as it hits flesh.
