Oh Fer Crying out Loud..........

A radical Islamic website is warning the creators of "South Park" that they could face violent retribution for depicting the Prophet Muhammad in a bear suit during an episode broadcast on Comedy Central last week.

RevolutionMuslim.com posted the warning following the 200th episode of Trey Parker and Matt Stone's "South Park," which included a caricature of the Prophet Muhammad disguised in a bear suit. The Web posting also included a graphic photo of Theo van Gogh, a Dutch filmmaker who was murdered in 2004 after making a documentary on violence against Muslim women.

"We have to warn Matt and Trey that what they are doing is stupid and they will probably wind up like Theo Van Gogh for airing this show," the posting reads. "This is not a threat, but a warning of the reality of what will likely happen to them."

Gosh, imagine if it was Thi Bear.......

its one thing to express oneself with the media, like south park, and another thing to express one self with "warnings" of "death"!
but, Islam is peaceful...it unfortunately has been prone to WAY many idiotic radicals who twist the truth and are slowly outnumbering the sane folks in the religion.
personally, i am no fan of south park but... they have a right to expression without losing their lives for doing it...

South Park is crude, base, juvenile humor, and is protected by the First Amendment. I don't watch it, they don't offend me directly. I know what they have done in the past, their treatment of Christians and conservative ideals, so I don't support them with ratings. I also know that they are offending everyone that they can equally.

As far as the "religion of peace", jihad is part and parcel of the whole thing. There may be moderates out there that don't hold fast with all the "rougher" passages, but they're regarded by the hard-liners as pansy ninnies.

Their god is capricious, vindictive and changeable. Yaweh is the same yesterday, today and forever; and is full of grace and mercy, having provided a sure way to eternal life with Him that is open to EVERYONE, regardless of gender, proclivity, place of birth or anything. Hey, if Saddam Hussein had chosen the "way, the Truth and the Life" just before he died, he'd have been forgiven. THAT's mercy. That's the kind of G-D we need.
