Anti Health Care in MY Home Town.....

Finally some excitement in my sleepy little, "safest town in America"........

From the AP......

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – California authorities say a clash between opponents and supporters of health care reform ended with one man biting off another man's finger.

Ventura County Sheriff's Capt. Frank O'Hanlon says about 100 people demonstrating in favor of health care reforms rallied Wednesday night on a street corner. One protester walked across the street to confront about 25 counter-demonstrators.

O'Hanlon says the man got into an argument and fist fight, during which he bit off the left pinky of a 65-year-old man who opposed health care reform.

A hospital spokeswoman says the man lost half the finger, but doctors reattached it and he was sent home the same night.

She says he had Medicare. *Now THAT is Irony*

O'Hanlon says the attacker fled but authorities have a good description.

Heh.......So do I.....

If I make a Citizen's Arrest...*Please G-d*.....he'll be turned in with all of his fingers still attached.

*I didn't say not broken......*
Wollf

WE are the "terrorists"??????

Well, if they do catch him, I hope the old man fingers him in a lineup.

This story will never make the mainstream meat-ia.

I want a full report if you are the one who makes the citizen's arrest...

Yep, things are getting dicey. I just put up a lengthy/boring post of an exchange with the local congresscritter here. It's beginning to resemble Berlin during the 1920s. Never visit an urban area without the Glock and the grizzly pepper spray.

So far I've heard that the Obama guy bit the older man's finger off in "self defense"....
and a report that got the politics of attacker and attackee mixed up, stating that an Obama supporter had his finger bitten off.....

Is it possible that, if the guy does have medicare (which, I'll point out, he paid into for most of his life) he MIGHT have a clue exactly how "wonderful" it is, and this effects his choice to protest against expanding it to the whole nation?
