Who'd a Thunk it.......
You go Gene....my respect for you just went up a couple notches.....
*everbodies......Finger is....er, healing. Been a month since the unfortunate event, but it's still there, have feeling in most of it....frustration is fairly high.
Don't see the Medic until 18 JULY.....arrrrgh.
Got this removable half cast, Iron Man looking thing protecting the through bolts, and it is NOT predisposed to doing anything....let alone typing.
Good thing is....looks like I'll keep it for sure.
Thanks for the prayers,

One of our Project Managers......
.....was visited at work by his Lovely wife and ten year old Daughter...
He brought them into my office for introductions....
Cute kid and bright as a button.... I asked the little girl what she wanted to be when she grows up.
She said she wanted to be President some day. Both of her parents, very liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her........
'If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?'
She replied, 'I'd give food and houses to all the homeless people.'
Her parents beamed.
'Wow...what a worthy goal.' I told her, 'But you don't have to wait
until you're President to do that.....
You can come over to my house and mow the lawn, pull weeds, and sweep my yard, and I'll pay you $50.
Then I'll take you over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out,
and you can give him the $50 to use toward food and a new house.'
She thought that over for a few seconds, then she looked me straight
in the eye and asked,
'Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50?'
'I said, 'Welcome to the Republican Party.'
Her Dad's still not speaking to me..........

A joke that says..........yup
The kids filed back into class Monday morning. They were very excited. Their weekend assignment was to sell something, then give a talk on productive salesmanship.
Little Sally led off:
"I sold girl scout cookies and I made $30," she said proudly, "My sales approach was to appeal to the customer's civil spirit and I credit that approach for my obvious success."
"Very good," said the teacher.
Little Jenny was next:
"I sold magazines," she said, "I made $45 and I explained to everyone that magazines would keep them up on current events."
"Very good, Jenny," said the teacher…
Eventually, it was Little Johnny's turn. The teacher held her breath ...
Little Johnny walked to the front of the classroom and dumped a box full of cash on the teacher's desk. "$2,467," he said.
"$2,467!" cried the teacher, "What in the world were you selling?"
"Toothbrushes," said Little Johnny.
"Toothbrushes!" echoed the teacher, "How could you possibly sell enough toothbrushes to make that much money?"
"I found the busiest corner in town," said Little Johnny, "I set up a Dip & Chip stand and gave everybody who walked by a free sample. They all said the same thing, "Hey, this tastes like dog crap!"
Then I would say, "It is dog crap. Wanna buy a toothbrush? I used the Democrats' approach of giving you something shitty for free, and then making you pay to get the crappy taste out of your mouth."
*humor ended*

Frustration.......
.....with this darned 'injury'....
Typing is a pain, literally, as is showering, chores, and basically anything that usually takes two hands......
Lot's of stories to tell, opinions to opine, but my mind runs a bit to fast for my one set of fingers to keep up with....
*sigh*.....
That being bitched about, Father's day was a very good day.
CheeseCake Factory lunch, then to the movies with M'Lady and the two Male Cubs.
Saw the A-Team. On a scale of One to Ten, there is none. If you enjoyed the TV series....by all means go.
If you didn't or are asking "What's the A-Team?".....don't. Pretty simple, huh?
Today is M'Lady's Birfday.
Happy Birthday my Love.

Only one way.......
....to say good bye to one of my all time favorite 'celebs', in quotes because you never felt that Jimmy Dean accepted his celebrity status....just a good ol' boy with a pot full of talent......had a nice run.....81 years old, G-d Bless him....
The singer/ songwriter...1961:
The Actor...Diamonds are forever, I loved the line at the end of this clip.....
Good bye, Jimmy, we'll miss you.
AND NOW, A WARNING!!!!
Don't scroll down any further if graphic images aren't your style.....it's my finger, for those of you who have e/m'd me asking to see the damage......
And, what a segue.....M'Lady, who has the unenviable chore of daily dressing changes said that it looks just like a Jimmy Dean Sausage......
I kinda agree......
I warned you, don't say I didn't. And my guess? Good ol' boy Jimmy gets the humor.
*by the by, you can see why blogging is such a literal pain as of late....*

Looks as though Ol'Wollf.....
....is gonna keep the finger that I alluded to, and which REALLY puts a crimp in my blogging.....
I've got, courtesy of M'Lady's predilection to photograph Everything, some very explicit photos of the post-op.....I won't post them unless I get some requests.
In the mean time, keep yourself busy wondering if there just might be something to those stereotypes we all cling to....
Today's lesson....Asian Drivers. Worth a watch, and yes, I giggled once or twice....no serious injuries what I could see....but how to you wreck head on at five miles per hour?

From a naturalized Citizen.....
This was written by a FORMER Mexican who is now a naturalized US Citizen, and I think it's a great explanation of the illegal immigration issue.
Here is the quote:
"If you had tickets to a sports event, concert, Disneyland, or for an
airline flight, and when you got to your assigned seat you found
someone else was in that seat, what would you do? You would call for a
person in charge of ticket checking and have the person in your seat
removed. You would properly be asked to show your ticket, and you
would gladly and proudly do so, for you have bought and paid for that
seat. The person in your seat would also be asked for a ticket, which
they would not be able to produce. They would be called "gate
crashers" and they would properly be removed.
Now in this huge stadium called the USA we have had (tens of) millions
of gate crashers. We have been asking security to check for tickets
and remove the gate crashers. We have been asking security to have
better controls in checking at the door. We have asked security to
lock the back doors. Security has failed us. They are still looking
the other way. They are afraid to ask to see the tickets. Many people
say there is unlimited seating, and whether there is or not, no one
should be allowed in for free while the rest of us pay full price!
In "section AZ", of "Stadium USA", we have had enough of the failures
of Security. We have decided to do our own ticket checking, and
properly remove those who do not have tickets. Now it seems very
strange to me that so many people in the other 49 "sections", and even
many in our own "section" do not want tickets checked, or even to be
asked to show their ticket! Even the head of Security is chastising
us, while not doing his own job which he has sworn to do.
My own ticket has been bought and paid for, so I am proudly going to
show it when asked to do so. I have a right to my seat, and I want the
gate crashers to be asked to show their tickets too. The only reason
that I can imagine anyone objecting to being asked for their ticket is
that they are in favor of gate crashing, and all of the illegal
activities that go with it, such as drug smuggling, gang wars, murder,
human smuggling for profit, and many more illegal and inhumane acts
that we are trying to prevent with our new legislation.
Is that what I am hearing from all of the protestors such as Phoenix
Mayor Gordon, US Rep. Grijalva, even President Obama? If you are not
in favor of showing tickets, (proof of citizenship, passport, green
card, or other legal document) when asked, as I would do proudly, then
you must be condoning those illegal activities."
*by the way....cut and paste....I'm not all back yet......*

WindowCat Productions: Memorial Day Weekend AZ Road Trip.mov
that was an adventurous week end.....was going to...still will, write about it, but.....
after getting home safe and sound, i promptly dropped a drill press on my hand in a 'hopefully' vain attempt to amputate my left pinkie......
emergency room till 0100, 1000mg vicadin, home till after surgery some time later this week...grrrr.. dragn's principal sent her home from teaching so she could watch after me....horry clap, watch after and care for wollf......
she loves me and to tell the truth.....well, it sometimes amazes me how much.
you'll get to read our in depth, on the scene from the border investgative report a bit later, when dragn or one of the cubs is around to push my 'shift' key....no left hand at the moment...
but here's a teaser montage....it gives you an idea.....
by the by....wouldn't mind just a 'little' prayer on the finger thing....already missing one, and don' really need a matched set of hands........
