Wanted to comment on the collider post. America actually started building(early-90's) a Super Collider just outside Dallas. We had a collection of the world's best scientists here.
Then, the new Republican Congress decided to cancel in mid construction, to show how conservative they were. So , all that start up money wasted. No Superconducting Super Collider for America, Europe gets it instead and that wonderful Republican Congress went on to waste tax money on other much more stupid things and we conservatives put them outta business.
Wish we had finished that Super Collider It would have been another feather in Ameica's scientifc cap.

What a lovely cat! We do the kitty burrito, too. It's much less stress on everyone. Our Maximum Leader just gives up and meows plaintively at us when she has to go to the vet.
