You see, M'Lady had a dentist appointment, and I arrived home at the Lair about 1700 hours to find........

.....a Killing Field.

....srsly.....I knew there was a problem when I opened the garage door and heard Ransom, (the Kitteh), Meowing from INSIDE the Lair.......

I entered the den, (that means house), to a family room full of feathers....LOTS of feathers.......

The Kitteh had somehow snuck back into the house, and was alone and unimpeded from his wild nature with Five Parakeets.......all day.

Smart Kitteh, he uses the toilet for his "business".....remember?

Well, seems that smarts, a Kitteh alone, and Parakeets.......means murder, as in the first degree, premeditated, long awaited, and quite possibly preordained.....

I'm talking about feathers Everywhere.....aaaaagh, I HAD to get it cleaned up before M'Lady Dragn got home.....two cadavers in the big cage, one under the buffet, and I couldn't find the last two......

Thought they might have escaped......nope, let Uber in, by the way a Very upset Dog, and directed him to "Find the Babies".....which he promptly did.....under the Fridge....

Ten hours, Kitteh alone plus Five Budgies in a big, supposedly secure cage equals....

.....Well, let's just say that we are currently Birdlesss....

Dammit. I'm pi$$ed at that Kitteh, but at the same time, I understand from years of experience, that he did Exactly what Kittehs do.....they are cold blooded Killers...housecats, tigers, Llions.....no difference....only a tiny space away from wild.....

So...can't blame him, heck, can't blame Tiberius the half Fox dog....oh, when I retrieved the birds from under the Fridge, he grabbed one and ran off with it, under our bed and started chomping....yuck.

I vacuumed all the feathers, removed all the "you know what", and had the Lair presentable for M'Lady when she returned from the eeeeeevil dentist....it's what I do.....

Am I sad? D'oh, of course, but it looks as though I am now in the market for another Birdie, got a big beautiful cage and all....no sense wasting it, and M'Lady really likes them.......

But the Kitteh......hmmmmm

Anybody got a Red Tailed Hawk, or a Golden Eagle?

Teach him a lesson, I might think......howzabout a Great Barn Owl?

....The Sonoran kind.....Wollfie the Elder, Dragn and Yours Truly......no 'puter, no Blogging....but Lots of Laughs and Adventure.....

The 'puter I'm writing on now leavesmuch to be desired, but at least it has a keyboard that my big fingers can manipulate.....

Missed sharing, srsly, but stories are now abounding in my head....of which You shall have to bear during the coming weeks......

Saw and visited with the Sar'Major...(my Sire)....little Baby Bro',...theat's his Beast of a 72 Torino, in which he took Wollfie the Elder for a "spin"....with 500 HP...the dead steer...well that'ss astory in itself, abandoned, yet somehow "Off Limits" Titan Missile Sites, Border Patrol, Wild Turkeys, Coyotes, Lots of shooting the toys.......

A vacation to remember, and Dragn videotaoped most of it.....I'll have it up with color commentary.......we even caught some illegals running across the road.....
